Then spare a thought for our groundworking team working outside in this temperature and having to de-ice the machines each day. They’ve managed to dig a natural, clay-lined pond in one day, using repurposed rocks found in the garden to frame it. When the rains (or snow) come it will fill up nicely. They’ve also carried out various drainage work to the site and are currently building a patio area.

New windows have been installed, doors are being fitted today. Plastering, painting and decorating is well underway. Bathrooms have been tiled. There’s still a lot to do but it should come together quickly now. Great work so far.
