Work is progressing at pace as we move into the final stages of the build. The large open-plan space created by the extension is currently being tiled, establishing a clean, durable foundation for the interior. At the same time, bathroom suites are being installed, marking a key step toward the home becoming fully operational.
Attention now turns to the finer details of the second-fix stage. Lighting and electrical fittings are being installed throughout, while externally, the focus has shifted to the surrounding landscape. Traditional dry stone walling is taking shape, carefully constructed to reflect the character and heritage of the original property.
These final elements are beginning to bring the project together. The connection between the existing house and the new extension now feels seamless, with the open-plan living space looking out onto the garden.
