Externally, the two-storey extension is complete, clad in beautiful timber and paired with sleek black steel windows that give a contemporary edge to the Cotswold stonework. The newly built stone chimney breast stands proudly, anchoring the design in traditional character while complementing the modern elements.
The front elevation has seen major progress, with stone masonry work framing the entrance and a striking bespoke timber porch under construction. Stone steps now lead visitors up to the front door, adding both grandeur and practicality. Around the site, landscaping is advancing, with patios and retaining walls beginning to define the outdoor spaces.

To the rear, the extension’s timber cladding and crisp render contrast beautifully, while full-height black-framed doors open the home to the garden. These details hint at the blend of light-filled interiors and strong architectural lines that will define the finished property.
With so much accomplished outside, attention is turning inward - tomorrow’s update will take you inside Elmstead House for an exclusive look at the progress behind the front door.
